Centrifugal fan is a kind of machinery that can increase gas pressure and discharge gas through input machinery, and is a kind of driven fluid machinery. When the impeller rotates, the gas between the blades of the centrifugal fan discharges kinetic energy (dynamic pressure head) from the periphery of the impeller through the centrifugal force, and flows to the outlet of the fan through the volute shell, thus forming a negative pressure at the center of the impeller, making the external air flow continuously flow into and supplement, so that the fan can exhaust the gas body.
Centrifugal fan is mainly composed of impeller, shell, coupling and shaft. Impeller is the main working part for generating wind pressure and transmitting energy; The shell is mainly used to introduce and exhaust gas, and convert part of the kinetic energy of the gas into pressure energy; The coupling is used to connect the motor and the fan to transmit torque; The impeller is installed and fixed by coupling and motor.
The disassembly, cleaning and assembly of centrifugal fan shall meet the following requirements:
1. Dismantle the shell and bearing box, remove the rotor for cleaning, but the fan directly driven by the motor cannot be disassembled for cleaning;
2. The bearing cooling water pipeline shall be unblocked and the whole system shall be pressure tested. If the test pressure is not specified in the technical documents of the equipment, it shall not be less than 4kg/cm2 in general.
3. Clean and check the regulating mechanism, and its rotation should be flexible.
