What Is Axial Flow Fan?

It refers to the air flow in the same direction as the axis of the fan blade, such as the electric fan, and the external fan of the air conditioner is an axial flow fan. Axial flow fan: It has a wide range of applications, namely, the air flow in the same direction as the axis of the fan blade, such as the electric fan, and the external fan of the air conditioner is the axial flow fan. The reason why it is called "axial flow type" is that the gas flows parallel to the fan axis. Axial flow fans are usually used in situations where flow requirements are high and pressure requirements are low. The axial flow fan is fixed in position and moves the air. Axial flow fan is mainly composed of fan impeller and casing, with simple structure but high data requirements.

working principle:

When the impeller rotates, the gas enters the impeller axially from the air inlet and is pushed by the blades on the impeller to increase the energy of the gas, which then flows into the guide vane. The guide vane changes the deflection gas flow into axial flow, and at the same time, the gas is introduced into the diffuser to further convert the gas kinetic energy into pressure energy, and finally introduced into the working pipeline.

Applications:

It can be used in metallurgy, chemical industry, light industry, food, medical equipment, mechanical equipment, civil buildings and other places for ventilation or heat dissipation. If the casing is removed, it can also be used as a free fan, or it can be installed in series at intervals in a long exhaust pipe to increase the air pressure in the pipe.

Running inspection:

When the axial flow fan is running, it mainly monitors the electric current of the motor. The current is not only a sign of the fan load, but also a prediction of some abnormal changes. In addition, always check whether the vibration of motor and fan is normal and whether there is friction and abnormal noise.
