The reversing of the cooling fan is generally caused by the reverse connection of the starting winding of the fan motor. It can be solved by exchanging the two connectors of the starting winding. There are two windings in the fan, one main winding and one auxiliary winding. The capacitance can change the degree of magnetic field to make the phase difference between the main winding and the auxiliary winding. If the main winding lags behind the auxiliary winding, the motor will reverse. The following is a detailed introduction:
1. If the wires of the starting winding of the fan motor are inversely connected, the fan will reverse. It can be solved by exchanging the two connectors of the starting winding;
2. There are two windings in the fan, one main winding and one auxiliary winding. The main winding plays a running role and the auxiliary winding plays a starting role. Capacitance is to change the degree of magnetic field to make the phase difference between the main winding and the secondary winding. If the main winding is ahead of the secondary winding, the motor will rotate forward; otherwise, the main winding will lag behind the secondary winding, and the motor will reverse;
3. Therefore, as long as the connection of the capacitor is changed, it is easy to realize forward and reverse rotation. You can also find a double control switch. The terminals at both ends are respectively connected to one end of the main winding and one end of the auxiliary winding. The central contact of the double control switch is connected to the power supply live wire. Then connect the two terminals at the other end of the main winding and the auxiliary winding together, connect them to the zero line of the power supply, press the open switch to rotate the fan motor in the positive direction, close the switch, and the fan motor will reverse;
4. In the production of household electric fans, the motor is only designed for forward rotation, and there is no forward and reverse rotation. Because the turns of the main winding and the secondary winding are different, and some wire diameters are also different, the output power, speed and other working conditions of the forward and reverse operation are also different.
