Axial flow fans can be used for both air supply and exhaust. In the air supply system, the axial flow fan absorbs the air from one side through its axial air volume characteristics, and then through the rotation of the fan, forms a high-speed air flow and then discharges from the other side. In the exhaust system, the axial flow fan sucks the air from the outside and sends it into the exhaust duct to exhaust, so as to achieve the purpose of indoor air exchange. Therefore, the axial flow fan plays an important role in the ventilation system.
When selecting axial flow fan, the following factors need to be considered:
Air volume: select the appropriate fan according to the required air supply or exhaust volume. Air volume is usually expressed in cubic meters per hour (m ³/ h) Or cubic feet per minute (CFM).
Static pressure: The pressure generated when air or gas flows. Static pressure is usually measured in pascal (Pa) or inch water column (in. wg).
Power supply: select the appropriate motor according to the site power supply conditions (voltage, frequency, phase number, etc.).
Sound level: select the appropriate noise level according to the requirements of the application.
Boundary dimension: select appropriate fan according to the size of installation space.
Corrosion resistance: if it is required to use in corrosive environment, the fan made of corrosion-resistant material shall be selected.
Installation method: select appropriate fans according to the installation method, including vertical, horizontal, lifting, etc.
Control mode: select manual or automatic control mode as required, including switch, speed regulation, automatic control, etc.
Taking the above factors into consideration, choose the appropriate axial flow fan.
