Characteristics And Application Of Blower

The fan with air pressure of 30kPa~200KPa or compression ratio e=1.3~3 is called the blower. According to its different functions, the blower is used in many environments in production and life. Early blast facilities were used for metallurgy and natural ventilation, and smelting furnaces were often built on hillsides or hilltops. With the increase of the temperature required for metallurgy, forced air blowing is developed. Blast facilities play an important role in supporting combustion and forming high temperature. The use and improvement of blast facilities have a great relationship with the development of metallurgical technology. In order to facilitate operation, increase the air volume, air pressure and obtain stable air flow.

Blower features

1. Since the impeller of the blower operates in the body without friction, it does not need lubrication, so that the gas discharged is oil-free. It is the ideal pneumatic conveying air source for chemical industry, food industry and other industries.

2. The blower is a volume operated blower. When in use, the flow changes little with the change of pressure. However, the flow varies with the speed. Therefore, the selection range of pressure is wide, and the selection of flow can be achieved by selecting the speed.

3. The speed of the blower is high, and the clearance between the rotor and the rotor, and between the rotor and the body is small, so there is less leakage, and the volumetric efficiency is high.

4. The structure of the blower determines that its mechanical friction loss is very small. Because only the bearing and gear pair have mechanical contact on the material selection, the rotor, casing and gear ring have sufficient mechanical strength. Safe operation and long service life is a major feature of blower products.

5. The rotor of the blower has been verified by static and dynamic balance. The finished product runs smoothly with minimal vibration.

6. The blowers with the above characteristics mainly include: Roots blower, side flow fan and multi-stage centrifugal blower.

Blower application

The blower is mainly composed of the following six parts: motor, air filter, blower body, air chamber, base (also used as oil tank) and oil drip nozzle. The blower operates eccentrically by the offset rotor in the cylinder, and changes the volume between the blades in the rotor slot to suck in, compress and discharge air. During operation, the pressure difference of the blower is used to automatically send the lubrication to the oil drip nozzle and drop it into the cylinder to reduce friction and noise, while keeping the gas in the cylinder from backflow. This type of blower is also called a sliding vane blower. The blower mainly transports clean air, clean gas, sulfur dioxide and other inert gases. It can also produce and transport other flammable, explosive, corrosive, toxic and special gases as required. Therefore, it can be widely used in metallurgical, chemical, fertilizer, petrochemical, food, building materials, petroleum, mine, textile, gas station, pneumatic transmission, sewage treatment and other industrial sectors.
